Berkeley Construction Update: August 25, 2015

It’s been a few weeks since the last Project Update and there has been quite a lot going on behind the construction wall.

1. Most of the walls are framed: steam room, bathrooms, dry sausa, rooms 220, 221, 222 & 210 and the laundry room.
2. Drywall, Durarock and greenboard is hung, taped and is currently being mudded and sanded.
3. The new entrance opening has been cut which will allow us to have two doors (one for the stairway to check-in desk and another for wheelchair lift) and our sign in between.

   What happens next?

   We will start tiling the floor as soon as the mortar beds and waterproofing are in, then we start tiling the walls.
